SciFinder is Chemical Abstracts online.
The database is available to students and faculty at Yeshiva University's Wilf and Beren Campuses, courtesy of the Einstein Library.
Log onto SciFinder
First-time Users
New User Registration
First time users:
- Register for a SciFinder AccountUse your YU email account.
SciFinder will email you a confirmation with a link to activate your registration.
Once you've created an account, you will need to log on each time you wish to access SciFinder.
Off-Campus Users: You will be prompted to first enter your off-campus credentials

Off-Campus Linking
You may search SciFinder on or off campus, but direct linking to full text is available only on campus.
To link to full text from off campus, choose one of these options:
- E-JournalsAccess the article through our E-Journals portal.
- Google Scholar for YUersAccess the article through Google Scholar (includes instructions to configure your computer for links to articles).
