Welcome to the Digital Media Studio!

The Gottesman Library Digital Media Studio is located on the southwest corner of the 4th floor, behind the elevators. It is an area dedicated to exploring and learning new digital creative technologies and is currently available to active students of the university.

The following equipment is available in the Digital Media Studio:

  • 3D Printer
  • Podcasting station with two studio microphones and podcast recording mixer
  • 4K professional video camera, studio lighting and green screen backdrop
  • Wacom design tablet with stylus
  • Blue Yeti individual podcast microphone
  • Apple M3 iMac computers with the following software:
    • Final Cut Pro
    • Logic Pro
    • Garage Band
    • Adobe Premiere Pro
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Autodesk Fusion 360

Reserve the Digital Media Studio

We offer a Digital Media Studio Intro Workshop, required for all 3D printing reservations.

Digital Media Studio Policy

  • Digital Media Studio Intro Workshop is required before making a 3D printing reservation, otherwise, your reservation will be canceled.
  • There is a maximum of 4 people allowed in the room at one time.
  • Reserve the digital media studio in 15-minute increments for two hours at a time.
  • Renew the room reservation  for up to two hours if it is still available.
  • If you do not arrive within 30 minutes of your reservation start time, you will forfeit your reservation.
  • All 3D printing projects are restricted to 2 hours or fewer of printing time.
