Request an Account
1. Complete the registration form and click SUBMIT.
2. Check your account information for accuracy and click CONTINUE REGISTRATION.
3. Read the WRDS Terms of Use Statement and click I AGREE.
4. You will receive an email verifying your ieligibility for an account.
5. If your account request is approved, you will receive password setup instructions.
Request Class Account
Complete the registration form, filling out these fields as follows:
First Name: class number, e.g. 4567
Last Name: leave blank
Username: choose something other than your individual username
User Type: Class (Faculty requestor only)

What is WRDS?
Wharton Research Database Services is a data management system to retrieve information from financial, economic, and marketing data sources including Compustat.
WRDS may be used solely for research and instructional purposes.
Before registering, make sure you belong to one of the eligible categories. Only requests from the following will be approved:
Current YU faculty, staff, research assistants, and graduate students
Faculty may also request class accounts.
