Introduction

Accurately citing your work is crucial. The YU Library Citation Guide, linked below, can provide you with the information that you need for citing your work. For your Education research papers, you will need to cite in the APA formatting style, so you will want to focus on that citation style.

You will have many tools at your disposal to ensure that you cite correctly. Citation managers can significantly ease the citation process. Citation managers such as RefWorks or Zotero can help you cite from start to finish, from creating citations, to adding in text citations, to building a list of works cited. From the YU library citation guide, linked below, you can access detailed information on how to create an account for and use RefWorks or Zotero.

In contrast, citation generators, such as those listed below, can help you to create the citations but you still will need to copy and paste them into your paper, create your own in text citations, and alphabetize your list of works cited.

In either case, you will need to check the citations created by the citation manager or generator for accuracy.

Again, the citation guide below contains helpful information to assist you with your citation process.
