The Herman Prins Salomon Fellowship

1. What is the duration of the fellowship?  The fellow will utilize the collections on-site at Yeshiva University between 4 to 6 weeks, with the specific dates to be arranged between the fellow and fellowship team.

2. Is there an honorarium for the fellow? Yes, the honorarium is $4,000. 

3. Will the fellow be able to use Yeshiva University Libraries’ collections, aside from the Professor Herman Prins Salomon materials? Yes, the Mendel Gottesman Library and special collections and rare books at Yeshiva University Libraries will be available for the fellow to use. 

4. Will the fellow be able to present their research to the Yeshiva University community? Yes, the fellow will present a lecture on their research to the community. 

5. What items are part of the Professor Herman Prins Salomon Collection at Yeshiva University? The items that are part of the collection can be searched within YU Libraries’ online catalog, for more information visit the site. 

6. Will I be able to access material at the library aside from those within the Salomon Collection? Yes, of course. The fellow will have access to the holdings of the YU Libraries for research purposes.
